Former Glee actor Mark Salling has been arrested for possession of child pornography.

The news was first reported by Crime Watch Daily, who say the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained a search warrant earlier this morning (December 29). TMZ says police found “hundreds of images” on Salling’s computer when searching at his home in Sunland, California.

The story is still developing, but TMZ goes on to report than an ex-girlfriend first went to police about suspicions of child pornography. They they investigated her claims to ensure it was not an attempt at revenge.

Salling’s had legal issues in the past. Earlier this year, he settled a lawsuit brought against him by ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela. She accused Salling of sexual battery and assault back in January 2013, claiming he had unprotected sex with her despite her insistence he wear a condom.

Gorzela also said that when she confronted Salling days later about it, fearing she might have contracted an STD from him, the Glee actor grabbed and pushed her, which resulted in her hitting her head.

Salling's rep said, “There is no truth to this,” at the time, but the actor was ordered by a judge to pay $2.7 million to Gorzela as part of the settlement. TMZ says the sexual battery claim was dropped, and that Salling admitted to “negligently causing [Gorzela] to fall and injure herself.” Gorzela reportedly sought payment from Salling’s insurance rather than the actor himself.
