How a Beautiful Mural Opened a Door to Healing Water
muralsAre you ever curious about something and when you go to find out the answer you get something more amazing than you would have ever thought?
That happened to me. I had noticed that the building at Bell and Plains Blvd. had a beautiful mural on the side of it. I went to take pictures to share with you and when I went into the business to ask about the mural, boy did I learn so much more.
The Water Tree has the most gorgeous mural on it. I had seen it and I was curious what was the meaning behind the mural.
When I stepped through the front doors, I met Angie Solis and she told me about the mural and educated me on the health benefits of alkaline water.
The mural on the side of the building was a commissioned piece by Blank Spaces. They wanted the mural to inspire life. The butterflies on the mural "is the definition of our mother." The fishes represent Blanca Mendes (the owner and Angie's sister) and the water tree represents life. It also represents cancer survivors.
I love the fact that this particular piece of art has such a grand meaning besides the beauty of the work.
What is The Water Tree?
The Water Tree is a place where you can go and purchase alkaline water. Angie told me the story of how the family came to own a place that serves the health of the community. Her sister has been diagnosed with cancer and also was a diabetic, and their mother told them about this water. Her sister visited The Water Tree Store in Uvalde, Texas (the first location), brought home 6 gallons of the water, and noticed a difference in her health. After visiting her diabetic doctor, her A1C dropped tremendously and the doctor told her to keep doing what she was doing.
After noticing the changes in her health she and her husband decided to learn more and more about alkaline water and the process. That's how The Water Tree came to be in Amarillo.
What's the difference between Alkaline Water and regular water?
They start out by using reverse osmosis (which is common for all purified water), the reverse osmosis removes all the bad in the water, but it also removes the good as well. After reverse osmosis, they do a ceramic conversion and in short, this is where they put all the good minerals back in the water which gives the antioxidants and alkalinity.
"Our water provides a superior hydrating effect at the cellular level which can help balance and detoxify the water."
They have three levels of their alkaline water
Level 1 which has a pH level of 7.5 - pH of 8.5
Level 2 - Classic which has a pH level of 8.5 - pH of 9.5
Level 3 - Premium which has a pH level of 9.5 - pH of 10.5
The Water Tree also has an alkaline tea bar where the tea and ice is made from the alkaline water
If you suffer from different ailments this water could benefit you.
Cancer
Acid Reflux
Migraines
Diabetes
Regular aches and pains.
and much more
I will tell you now I did not do this explanation justice of how their water works, but I guarantee if you stop by one of The Water Tree Stores in Amarillo, 1900 S. Bell (where you will see the beautiful mural) or the original Amarillo store at 1310 SE 10th Ave, they will explain the process and let you try the water.
I tried it and it was a perfect cup of water. I also came home with a gallon of water and woke up this morning and downed a giant glass of The Water Tree water. I'm going to give it try and I'll let you know how it goes.
It's funny how my curiosity about a mural, opened a whole new door for health for myself.
