How Deep Is The Assumption Parish, LA Sinkhole [VIDEO]

You've seen the sinkhole in Assumption Parish, LA swallow massive objects, from larges trees, to huge chunks of land, but how deep does it actually run?  Do they know the depth of it?

After watching this video, we may never know the true depth of the sinkhole.

This gentleman has a 500ft measuring chord that's used to measure depths of holes and bodies of water.  He let all 500ft out and didn't even begin to touch the bottom!

That is absolutely INSANE!

Check out the true raw power of Mother Nature as what appears to be just a placid pond starts to swallow gigantic trees.

The sinkhole is said to be caused by a collapsed cavern underneath it, most likely from the oil spill in the Gulf Coast (at least that's what I keep reading).  I guess pumping the cavern almost dry and then with the millions of gallons of oil that leaked out into the Gulf Coast, it left a huge underground cave and the Earth is literally collapsing in.

Did the government see this coming?  I ask this question with all seriousness!  There is a map that was put together by the US Navy.  It's a "future map" of America.  You NEED to look at this map!  This map was put together long before this sinkhole started, and it looks like the Navy knew it was coming.  If this map predicts the future of America correctly, many people are in danger!  This could cost millions of people their lives!
