Pony Express Burritos Makes Its Amarillo Debut

Another place we have been anxiously waiting for the opening of is Pony Express Burritos. They have a location in Canyon, one on the WT campus and the chance to eat them while watching a WT football game.

They have been wanting to expand into the Amarillo area. That dream is now officially happening. They had their soft opening a few days ago and now they are officially open as of Monday, November 3rd. You can find them at 34th and Georgia.

They’ve taken over the former Pizzeria Nomad location. They closed and someone needed to bring more food to that location. That is exactly what Pony Express Burritos is doing.

After getting our certificate of occupancy yesterday, we decided to do a soft opening today. Wanna give a huge shout out to Coach Plunk & staff, over at Tascosa High School. He was also kind enough to donate a jersey and a football helmet, and to my surprise he walked in the door today. Thank You for the support. Looking forward to being able to serve all Amarillo ISD students, and staff at the new location.

A Welcome Addition to Georgia Street’s Food Scene

We are excited to have another new place to eat in the already busy Georgia Street area. The more choices the better. Welcome to Amarillo.
