Marshalls Grand Opening in Amarillo Comes With $10,000 Gift to Local Nonprofit

Marshalls is opening in Amarillo, and we broke the news back in April 2025. Then we shared the opening date with you in July, and now we are one week away from the grand opening, and it's an exciting time in Amarillo. We are getting a new place to shop.

Yes, Amarillo has several stores where you can go and find clothes, shoes, home goods, and more, but there's something about Marshalls.

Marshalls Gives Back to Amarillo

However, one of the big deals of the opening is that Marshalls is taking care of the Amarillo community. Marshalls is donating $10,000 to Family Support Services in Amarillo.

What Is Family Support Services?

Family Support Services (FSS) has been helping people in Amarillo for over 100 years. FSS serves more than 25,000 people every year, providing support to victims of family violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. FSS helps children, families, veterans, and anyone in need of counseling or support.

• Education and Prevention
• Veterans Resource Center

As of right now, Marshalls hasn't announced any big promotions. According to the email we received from a Marshalls representative, there will be some excitement, but they didn't specify,

One would assume the store would have something special for the first customers through the door, but it wasn't revealed. When Marshalls announces the first day perks, we'll update the article.

Store Details and Hours

Marshalls will be located in the Shops at Soncy, 3220 S. Soncy Rd, in the former Joann Fabrics location. The store is 30,096 sq ft and will be open 9:30 am to 9:30 pm Monday through Sunday. However, Marshalls will open early on the Grand Opening Day at 8 am. It will offer single-lane checkout, and it's a great place to stock up on fashion, beauty, home, kids, pets, and more.
