A New Shopping Destination in Dumas

Dumas isn't a stranger to a Bealls store. They used to have a store in Guylane Plaza  Bealls was open in that location until the parent company closed all the stores in the Texas Panhandle in 2020.  While some of the Bealls stores were changing to other brands, COVID saw that most of these stores never reopened or rebranded.

How is this Bealls In Dumas Different from the Former Bealls?

This Bealls is owned by Bealls Inc., which bought the naming rights from Stage after Stage filed for bankruptcy.  According to paperwork filed with state agencies, the new Bealls store #966 will be located at 212 1st Street.  The renovation start date will be June 2025, with a completion date of October 2025. The renovation of this building into Bealls is expected to cost $800,000.
