More Casey Anthony Madness, Her Legal Team Is Pleading With The Judge Saying She Should NOT Be On Probation

I can't handle much more of this!  Now Casey Anthony's legal team is fighting to keep her off probation?  Now, before you start seeing red and get ahead of yourself (like I did) hear out the full story.  They aren't trying to keep her off a probation sentence for murder, after all that would be silly (I typed sarcastically).  It's for check fraud.

You see before the murder trial Casey had check fraud charges pressed on her.  The dispute from her legal team comes in this form.  She was in jail for murder charges.  She sat in jail for a good amount of time and was found innocent.  So her legal team is trying to get her time served for the check fraud charges.  Since she sat in jail, served time and was found innocent of the murder charges.  They feel the time she served should fulfill any sentencing that comes from the check fraud.  If they lose this case, she will have to return to Florida in 11 days.

"Casey Anthony's legal team tells TMZ they will fight the judge who just rejected their claim that Casey served her probation for check fraud while she sat in jail during her murder trial"

"A judge ruled on Friday that the judge who sentenced Casey clearly made an innocent mistake, and it wouldn't make sense to allow Casey to get credit for the time she was in jail.  After all, the point of probation is to test how a person behaves when they are in the real world, not while they're locked up with few opportunities to misbehave."

I totally agree with what the judge ruled on Friday, but the legal team will appeal the ruling and if they win, she'll be completely cleared all because of a technical error.  However if they lose, the case will be drug out for another month or so as they bargain with the court to get her probation transferred to any other state but Florida.
