A haunted house on 6th Street, known as the 6th Street Massacre, is asking people to not be patrons of The Broken Spoke Bar right next door at 6th & Virginia.  The reason?  The Broken Spoke Bar is towing vehicles of customers that go to visit the haunt attraction.  One of the vehicles towed was that of a mother with 3 children.

PARKING LOT WARS!

The owner of the 6th Street Massacre posts this on their Facebook page:

"At the request of several customers, I'm going to start over with my post about the Broken Spoke. The Broken Spoke Bar, next to 6th street Massacre is towing cars that park in their parking lot and are coming to 6th street Massacre. While that is their right, 6th street massacre has allowed their customers to park in our parking lot the 11 months out of the year we don't use our parking lot. It is also our right to tell our legally aged fans to not go to the Broken Spoke bar. We do not tow cars at any time that park on our parking lot, even during the months we don't use our parking lot. The owners of the Broken spoke sat out in their parking lot, waited for cars to park, watched customers walk over to 6sm and called the tow truck instead of just telling the customer that the parking was for customers only. One of the customers was a mother with 3 children. She probably didn't even know it was a bar nor did she probably see the unlit tow sign. As the owner of a business on 6th street, I'd like to see every business succeed and that is the reason I leave my parking open to anyone going to any business on 6th street. The owner of the bar dared me to paint the side of my building, telling customers about the parking problem so here it is."

Beyond that, they painted in huge, bright pink letters on the side of their haunted house; "Broken Spoke towed the car of a mother and 3 kids!  Please don't patronize them!"

We all know the Broken Spoke is well within their legal rights to tow vehicles of those that are not customers at the bar, the question is, does this seem a bit extreme?

If they have a sign saying: "Parking for Broken Spoke Patrons Only.  All Others Will Be Towed".  Then it seems like they did warn the customers of the haunt not to park in their parking lot.

It goes WAY deeper than this too!  I had a chance to catch up with the owner of the haunted house, I invite you to hear our conversation below.

The owner of The Broken Spoke has called me to give his side of the story, and we all know there are 2 sides to every story.  I invite you to listen to our conversation below!

I'm not here to take sides with either the haunted house or the bar, I'm merely asking your opinion.
