Greeley, Colorado will be the first town in the state to pass a distracted driving ordinance. The Greeley City Council are moving forward with the ordinance and will take place immediately to drivers in Greeley.

The proposal came after a cyclist was killed by a woman reaching for a McDonald's sandwich while driving. the ordinance is left up to the police officer on what's considered distracted driving. If your caught reading a book while driving you will definitely be ticketed! You can also be ticketed if your applying make-up while driving to. Again, police officers in Greeley, Colorado will determine what is distracted driving.
