The Subway at I-40 & Grand in Amarillo was victim of armed robbery this morning around 10am.  The suspect made off with the cash in the register, but the security cameras got a good look at him.  This may not be the only place he plans on robbing, so if you or a friend work at a place of any kind that keeps money on site, you may wanna keep an eye open for him.

"On 9-23-13, at 10:00 AM, officers were sent to the Subway sandwich shop at 3300 E. IH40 on a robbery. The victim, a female employee, told officers that a man came into the store and ordered a drink. She opened the register to accept his payment. He produced a black handgun from his waistband. She backed away from the register, and the man reached over the counter and removed money from the cash drawer. He then had her lift up the drawer to check underneath it. No money was kept there. He walked out of the store and was last seen running north from the store. The suspect is a white or Hispanic male. He was described as being in his mid-twenties, about 5ft. 10, 190 pounds. He had some facial hair. He was wearing an orange or red and white cap with a University of Texas Long Horn logo on the front, and had on a gray shirt and blue jeans. There were no injuries and no arrests."
