After spending a year cooped up inside the house due to the coronavirus, I'm now afraid of another virus that I've seen spreading this Memorial Day Weekend: The Human Stupidity Virus.

In 2011, the Texas Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans applied for a specialty Confederate Flag theme license plate. The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board rejected the application for the specialty license plate, and the applicants in turn filed a lawsuit. It lawsuit was dismissed in 2013. So we were contacted on Facebook by an Amarillo mother that is outraged with a coach at Caprock High. Not because he's been mean to her son or any type of bullying, but how the coach handled a situation involving her son, a junior at Caprock. The situation has left her son, who was doing dual credits at Caprock and at Amarillo College, on academic probation until he's a high school senior.
