It's going to be a looong year.

In the most perfect example of how not to try and connect with your students, this teacher serenades her class with a string of her own takes on several hit songs.

She busts out her versions of such tunes as Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s "This Is What You Came For," Fifth Harmony’s "Work From Home," Rihanna’s "Work," Carrie Underwood’s "Before He Cheats," Drake’s "Hotline Bling" and Carly Rae Jepson’s "Call Me Maybe."

Like a plagiarized book report, it's not good and the faces of the students who appear to be numb at what they're being forced to sit through is really what makes this so amazing.

This goes on for nearly eight seven minutes, which is an eternity in teen years and may mark the first time these students prayed their teacher actually began doing her job. At the end they clap, but you have to wonder it's because they like it or if they're relieved it's finally over.
