The Don Harrington Discovery Center Gears Up To Launch New Exhibit

I have been so excited to see all the new exhibits that have come to the Don Harrington Discovery Center.  And now, they are getting ready to display a new exhibit!

When the DHDC brought the Lego exhibit to town, my son and I were so excited.  We visited that thing several times.  We were sad to see it go but excited that they were going to be bringing in something new.

On May 24th, the DHDC will open the doors to a new exhibit, Treasure! and will be here until September 12th.  Treasure! is all about treasure and treasure hunting.  You will be able to see what all is involved in finding treasure, the tools and more.  You will also be able to learn about Underwater Treasure, Buried Treasure, Metal Detecting for Treasure, Gold Rushes, Treasures in the Attic, Treasure in Popular Culture, The Modern Treasure Hunt including Geocaching, and Protecting Treasure.

It is going to be a fun and exciting exhibit, especially for the kids.  If you didn't make it to the Lego exhibit, don't miss this one.  It will definitely be worth.  The DHDC is open Tues-Sat from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm and Sunday noon to 4:30p.  During the summer, they will be open on Monday as well.
