Growing up I never imagined myself with children.  But I guess the lord had other plans for me.  Almost 5 years ago I was blessed with a little boy.  Over the past few years I've learned that boys are filled with surprises.

Boys are so different than girls.  Or at least different from the way I was.  My son can be so loving one minute and so tough the next.  I can handle this, but what I can't handle is how sloppy he his in the restroom.

Let me start off by saying potty training was so easy.  When he was ready he practically trained himself.  We never had any accidents or problems.  I felt super lucky.

Friday, I had such a busy day that I never once visited the ladies room.  So when it was time to leave, I realized that I needed to pee.  I was running late and didn't want to leave my son waiting at school, so I decided to hold it until I got home.

When we get home from school, we have a little routine.  Put everything up then head to the restroom.  Well the sensation worsened as I waited for my son to get out of the bathroom.  By the time it was my turn I didn't even think about it, I just sat down.

Now you are probably thinking, he left the seat up.  Thankfully that wasn't it, but along the same page.  My son had peed all over the seat.  I was so disgusted!  I guess it could be worse because at least it was my son's pee.

I have since been accompanying him to make sure he aims right and cleans up after himself.  He hates that!  I hope this is the start to a pee free toilet seat.

Oh the joys of living with little boys!
