‘The Pirates Of Penzance’ Coming To The Amarillo Globe News Center

Hey opera fans, here's an event you shouldn't miss out on!

Amarillo's very own opera  will be performing Gilbert & Sullivan's classic show 'The Pirates of Penzance'. They will hit the stage this weekend at the Amarillo Globe News Center.

'The Pirates of Penzance' is a comedic opera that has been around since the late 1800's. An apprentice of a group of pirates falls in love, finds out he's born on Leap Day, and so much more in this classic performance.

And don't worry, unlike many classic operas, this one is performed in English!

It's guaranteed to make you laugh and would be perfect for a date or family night! The opera will feature some of our talented local artists.

You can catch 'The Pirates of Penzance' Saturday at 7:30 pm or Sunday at 2:30 pm. This is one show you don't wanna miss! Tickets are on sale now at panhandletickets.com.
