Things I Missed About Amarillo

When you drive in Amarillo, most of the time your longest trip will take about 15 minutes. If you drove that same distance in the Philadelphia area, it can take up to an hour or more. That's if nothing is happening like accidents or road work. The rush hour up north is a nightmare!

Luckly we don't get a lot of these around here. But up north, they are everywhere. If you could see my legs you would know why I hate these things so much. My legs look awful from all the mosquito bites.

One of my favorite drinks here in Amarillo is sweet tea. It is almost impossible to find a place that has it up north. If they do have it, it's nowhere as good as it is here.

The folks here are a little nicer than the folks up north. It might be because everyone up there is in a hurry and need to be somewhere. Foks here take things a little slower. Heck, they will be late getting to where they need if it means holding the door open for you.

You can get in and out of our airport super fast. Any other airport, most likely not. At the Amarillo Airport, it took me not even 30 mins to check my bag in and go through security here. Philadelphia, it took over and hour and a half. I would fly out of the Amarillo airport 20 times a week instead of flying out of Philly one time. Sorry Philadelphia, I love your city but your airport sucks.
