United Supermarkets Offering Incentive to Come to Work For Them
It is no surprise that we have a shortage of workers here in Amarillo. Heck, all over the country. People have been unemployed and collecting that extra cash. That is ending soon.
There are a lot of places hiring. Some of those places are offering incentives to get you to interview and even to come work for them. I have seen Taco Villa offering a $25 gift card just to interview. I also saw where Arby's was offering a $225 sign on bonus for new employees.
Businesses are trying. Some people complain that it's the unlivable wages that is creating the shortage. I think it is a mixture of the two. The unemployment being more than what you would make at work. Period. So here we are. Everyone is needing help.
I saw where not only is United Supermarkets offering an incentive for new employees. That is great. They also offer a pretty nice benefits program as well. Here is what they are offering according to their Facebook post:
