Wayland Baptist University is one of the top ranked colleges for wrestling. Their head coach, Coach Cobb, has given two very special girls from Palo Duro High School an amazing opportunity! Kelsey Baker and Leah Widowski are two very special seniors from Palo Duro High School who Coach Cobb has given scholarships to wrestle for him this fall.

Coach Cobb is the first ever coach for Wayland's men's and women's wresting program.  He is also an Amarillo native where he was a two time Texas High School Coach of the Year at Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas.

Kelsey Baker a four time letter at Palo Duro and also one of the Captains. She is a three time All-American, two time State placer, three time District champ, Regional champ, and a Worlds Trial qualifier.

Leah Widowski is a district champ, and also a regional and state placer!

Coach Cobb thought fondly enough of these two young women he offered both of them scholarships to Wayland Baptist University. Congrats to you two women!
