What Do You Miss About Hastings?

What are some things you miss about Hastings and what shopping alternatives have you found?

I am sitting here in my office thinking, "I really could use a cool movie poster on that wall." Sure, I could go to websites like Amazon or Thinkgeek and see if I can find a poster there.

But we use to be able to go one of many Hastings right here in Amarillo. If you are new to town you missed the greatest place to go for all pop culture stuff.

They had it all. T-shirts, Knick Knacks, Posters, Replicas, Pop Vinyl Characters, whatever you wanted. Oh, and it had an amazing movie rental section too. Which was so refreshing since Blockbuster is gone and Redbox doesn't carry older movies.

I remember the first time I went into one of their stores. I saw a small replica of Ecto One from Ghostbusters. The detail was amazing. From that point, I was hooked. I can't tell you how many times I would go to that store just to see what new stuff they got that week.
