As we get closer and closer to Christmas, I start to hate going anywhere.  So I started thinking about all the different things that make the holidays unhappy.  Here are a few things I came up with?

TRAFFIC

Once we get to November, the traffic is insane.  Especially after Thanksgiving.  Not only is there tons of vehicles on the streets, it seems to me that people forget how to drive.  Here's some advice:  You don't have to make a complete stop to make a turn!  And if you are getting on the interstate DO NOT stop.

Now I don't mind this, but I've heard a lot of people complaining about it:  visiting family.  The holidays are about family so I don't get it.  So I asked and the response was that they were mostly dreading the in-laws.  Ok a little more understandable.  We all have that one relative that is absolutely obnoxious.  But it wouldn't be Christmas without them.

HOLIDAY CROWDS

Not the thing that I hate the most, and I'm sure a lot of people are with me on this, is fighting crowds.  I do not like to fight people when I'm out shopping.  I want to be able to take my time and shop comfortable, so a lot of my Christmas shopping is done online.

WAITING IN LINE

Now the next thing kind of goes hand and hand with crowds, but it's waiting in line.  Nobody wants to have to wait for 30 minutes to check out but it happens.  To me, it isn't worth it when I have no distractions online.  :)

Christmas and the entire holiday season is suppose to be filled with cheer and happiness, but sometimes things get in the way.  I try to avoid uncomfortable situations as much as possible.  Let's all try to make the crowd fighting, line waiting, traffic jamming time as enjoyable as possible.
