Why Are We Seeing So Many Dumpsters In The Streets Instead Of Alleys In Amarillo?

I think the title says it all.  I was driving down 53rd today, kind of behind Ashley Furniture, and I almost plowed into a line of like 5 dumpsters!  As my journey continued, I kept seeing more and more dumpsters just sitting in the streets!  I'm thinking to myself, what the hell is going on and why are they sticking these dumpsters in the street?  Then, I stumbled upon the answer to the question!

The answer can best be found in the picture below.

A short and simple answer to the question, they are doing repair work in some local area alleys.  Hence the moving of the dumpsters to the streets.

So over the next few days, when your commuting through neighborhoods, you should pay close attention!

Trust me, it's like these dumpsters just jump out in front of your car out of no where!

So just play it safe, put the cell phone down, and keep your eyes on the prize!  The prize in this case being you not getting injured while your rushing to make it to work on time.

Further more, why does the city of Amarillo always do road construction on places that don't need it?  Hillside is completely littered with cracks and holes, oh but that's no big deal, let's use our tax money to fix these alleys!  Yeah, that's really genius!  (can you feel my sarcasm?)
