Amarillo Arrested Possession/Promotion Of Child Pornography

These kind of stories make me sick! Simply put, there are zero excuses for this kind of behavior! Children, young teenagers, exploited for the pleasure of sick and twisted perverts. It straight up pisses me off! Information provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has led to the arrest of a 26 year old Amarillo man for possession or promotion of child pornography.

The case began when the information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was sent to the Dallas Police Department’s Child Exploitation Unit. Their investigation established a connection to an Amarillo man and his computer. Criminal activity, possession of child pornography, was linked to his computer he was using to download child pornography.

"On 2-7-14, APD Crimes Against Persons detectives served a search warrant at an apartment in the complex at 2727 Virginia. The suspect was not in the home at the time of the service. Investigators seized computers, storage media including DVDs and other items, a cell phone, and cameras. Officers made contact with the man and detectives interviewed him at the Amarillo Police Department. After additional investigation, officers took the man into custody. Alexander Jimenez III HM 26 was booked into the Potter County Detention Center on a charge of possession or promotion of child pornography."
