Another Accident Involving Truck Trying To Beat Train

What's going on with people thinking they can beat a train while crossing the tracks in their car! Deaf County authorities said Wednesday morning a truck driver was hospitalized after a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train hit he tractor-trailer as the driver attempted to beat the train. Public Safety Senior Trooper Christopher Ray said "He was trying to cross as crossing gates began to lower."

The 66-car train struck the vehicle at a crossing, sending a the driver of the vehicle to a hospital. Okay people we cannot beat trains and there's reasons why they have the crossing bars at train stops! Please do not try to go around the crossing gates when they are lowering or already lowered...That means there is a train coming and to be patient it can save a life!
