I guess Toot'n Totum was too busy to be robbed, so an Arby's got hit instead.  After hearing of Toot'n Totum robberies literally one after another, you just kind of expect to see them.  Maybe they took everyone's advice and updated their security system.  Sorry for getting side-tracked there!  Back to the story of Arby's!  Last night, the location at 7200 I-40 West in Amarillo was robbed.  It's in one of the truck stops out there on the east end of I-40.

"On Sunday February 2nd, at approximately 10:30pm, officers were sent to the Arby’s Restaurant in the 7200 block of I-40 West on a Robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival officers learned that the store employees were in the process of closing down for the night when a B/M walked in, immediately displayed a semi automatic pistol and demanded money from the registers. The suspect pointed the pistol at the employees and made them empty the cash drawers. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the store and was last seen running out the store. The suspect is further described as a B/M unknown age, 5’4”, thin build, wearing a black hoodie, black sunglasses, a black and white bandanna covering his face, and black denim jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Amarillo Police Department or call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400."

I read on Facebook that the suspect also made off with all the Arby's & Horsey sauce in the store.  OH NOOOOOO!!!  That's probably not true, but it sure is fun to pretend!

Your tip will be rewarded with endless cups of water and leftover curly fries...okay that's another fictional statement...
