A woman got the surprise of a lifetime this week during a flight.

I totally butchered my proposal several years ago, so bad that I had to do it again a few years later. Clearly, I'm not quite as romantic as some guys out there, but this one guy pulled off the proposal of a lifetime.

I can't imagine the hoops one must go through to even be allowed to propose on an airplane.

Seriously, every flight I've ever been on, they threaten to throw you out of the exit door if you unbuckle your seat belt. This guy though, clearly planned ahead and pulled it off.

During his flight, the crew allowed him to not only stand up, but also use their PA system so that the entire flight could hear what was going on.

She could barely contain her emotions as she took part in the mile-high proposal.
