Illinois Little League Baseball Team Raffles Off An Assualt Rifle for Fundraiser – [VIDEO]

Ok...This is weird! A little league baseball team from Illinois are raffling off a AR-15 military assault weapon. That's the same model assault rifle that was used at Sandy Hook elementary. One of the parents who's child plays on the baseball team says:

“It’s for a good cause, for the kids, and we’re just trying to raise as much money as we can,” she added. “Their fundraiser last year only raised $10.”

Owner of Atwood Armory says that the winner of the rifle will go through a standard background check before claiming the prize.

I'm sorry but to me this is not setting a good example to our younger generation! What's really disturbing is that this father says he leaves loaded guns around his house with his kids and is comfortable about it...Shocking!
