Walmart Employees In Borger Raising Money For CMN
Children's Miracle Network has been serving the kids of the Texas Panhandle for over 35 years and the Walmart in Borger is hosting a fundraiser to help this organization.
Coming up on Saturday, July 9th, make your way to the Walmart in Borger from 11 am - 5 pm for Food Trucks for Kids.
Not only will they have several food trucks, but Walmart will also be cooking up some hot dogs and selling them to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.
The great thing about Children's Miracle Network is every dollar raised for this organization stays right here in the Texas Panhandle to help local kids. It helps provide life-saving equipment for our rural hospitals. CMN helps families with their child's medical bills. They also help provide amazing things for the child life specialists in our local hospitals. Not only that, they help recruit pediatric specialists to come to Amarillo so our kids don't have to travel long distances to see a specialist.
By participating and donating on Saturday, July 9th in Borger, you are helping out the kids of the Texas Panhandle.
These employees at the Borger Walmart are getting into helping out CMN. In fact, because they already raised $1000 in just a few days for CMN, one of their managers, Kris Garza, shaved his beard because they reached that goal.
Mark your calendars and make plans to join the Borger Walmart Supercenter for their Food Trucks for Kids, so they can continue raising money for the Children's Miracle Network.
