Is It Ok For Little Girls To Run Around Without A Shirt?

In today's society you have to be extra careful with the people you let your kiddos around.  It is normal to see little boys running around without a shirt, but is it ok to have your little girls go shirtless?

Growing up it was normal to see little boys without shirts.  They would always ride their bikes shirtless or play basketball without a shirt.  But I never really seen or noticed any little girls without a shirt.  Today, that is a totally different story.

I can log on to Facebook and see people posting pictures of there children and see little girls playing without a shirt.  I have even seen it with my own eyes.  My mom has a set of neighbors who not only allow their daughter to run around outside without a shirt, but sometimes she is butt naked.

I found this totally shocking.  Who lets their daughter run around naked?  Now I am not trying to judge anyone, but I don't think it's ok to have a 4 year old little girl naked or even topless.

I'll admit that I don't have a daughter so I don't know what these parents are thinking.  But I do have a son.  I know for a fact that I would not allow him to run a round outside naked at any age.  There are creeps that live in this world.  People who absolutely cannot be trusted around kids.  People you would never even suspect.

So am I over reacting?  Is it ok to allow your little girls to run around shirtless?  How about naked?
