Tomorrow we will be honoring our active and retired soldiers for Veterans day. A day where we give thanks to the men and woman who have not only protected and fought for our country, but also have put their lives on the line for us. Here's a list of businesses that are giving freebies or discounts to vets on Veterans Day.

Great Clips

Great Clips is giving away haircuts to active and retired members of the military. If you're a current or former member of the military, all you have to do is head to a Great Clips salon on Veterans Day for a free haircut. You can also get a free haircut card to use at a later date in 2014. If you aren't in the military, you can purchase your own haircut on November 11, and you'll receive a free haircut card to give to an active or retired military member. Remember, the free haircut card must be redeemed by December 31, 2014.

Starbucks

Not only is Starbucks honoring active and retired military, but military spouses also can join in by redeeming a tall brewed coffee at no charge. This offer is only available at participating locations, so call ahead before you leave home, and start your day right with a (free) hot cup of coffee.

Applebee's

Active military and veterans can dine at participating Applebee's for free on November 11. The free meal is available from open to close and must be chosen from a limited menu that includes sirloin, three-cheese chicken penne, double crunch shrimp and more. Beverages and gratuity are not included.

Texas Road House

Texas Roadhouse is saying thank you with a free lunch and beverage for active and retired military members. Its special dine-in menu includes sirloin, country fried chicken, a pulled pork sandwich and more. This offer is only available during lunch hours, so grab a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse and dine for free at a different establishment for dinner. Military members can eat free all day!

On The Border

Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free "Create Your Own Combo" meal from On the Border on Veterans Day. This plate includes two or three choices from a menu of items like tostadas, enchiladas, tacos and more. Other guests will pay regular dinner price
