After a little more than four long years of probation, Snoop Dogg catches a break and is let off early.

After a 2006 appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Snoop was arrested after cops allegedly found drugs and a gun in his car.  Then in 2007, he was sentenced to 60 months or 5 years of probation.  According to TMZ, the courts granted a petition by Snoop's attorney and released him early.

So after serving 49 months or just over four years, Snoop Dogg is a free man!  Now lets consider the lifestyle of the rapper.  Do you really think being on probation made a difference in his life?

In my opinion, no!  Snoop has never hidden the fact that he enjoys smoking illegal things, so he probably never stopped smoking "the green" or drinking or anything else he does.  But according to past interviews, Snoop has a California Medical Drug license. So technically he isn't breaking the law.
