It's not very often that the people you watch on an Amarillo news station become the news. I mean I can remember a time or two. That is not always a good thing. Then this bombshell was dropped by Jackie Kingston herself.

The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon started their annual fundraising campaign with the help of the Spin Doctors at Starlight Ranch

The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon has established the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to provide aid to those affected. Apply for aid now.

There is nothing better than good food for a good cause.

Way to go United Way!  Yesterday, myself and Tommy the Hacker made a stop out to the Victory Luncheon so we could talk to the students, and get a free meal of course!  The biggest thing, was the announcement of how much they raised in their 2012 fundraising efforts!  Which was AMAZING!

With these crazy temperatures, it has become a chore to stay cool.  The United Way of Amarillo and Canyon want to make sure everyone has a cool place this summer.  They have kicked off their air conditioner and fan drive.
