Are Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Engaged?

Yesterday when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez showed up to Los Cabos, she was wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger!  She was also wearing a pink tank top, now that's what caught my interest!  However, the shining ring has made pre-teen girls everywhere straight spazz out!

It seems to make sense.  Why would you be wearing a rock on your engagement ring finger if you aren't engaged?  Wait a sec, one of my Latino friends, that is what you would call a "true playa for real", informs me those are called "props", meaning your wearing a ring to make people think your married or engaged so you don't get hit on.  Tisk tisk ladies that is wrong on many levels.

Why is Selena wearing this ring?  Are her and Justin in fact going to tie the not?  US Magazine says that they've spoken to Selena's rep and she says that they are not engaged.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez caused quite a commotion when the 19-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger Wednesday. Though many media outlets wondered if Bieber, 17, had indeed popped the question, Gomez's rep tells Us Weekly: "She is not engaged."

The young couple is, ironically, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a wedding -- just not theirs. According to TMZ, Gomez is a bridesmaid in costume designer Shannon Larossi's wedding. The two met on the Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place.

Though Bieber hasn't made an honest woman out of Gomez yet, it may not be far off in the future.
