How many times have you found yourself partying way too much  and the next morning you regret it because you have to work. That's when you pull out the excuse list on what your gonna tell your boss so you don't have to go to work. I think I've used every excuse (shh don't tell Dallas Chambers) but I don't ever think I could pull off a fake death of a family member just to get off of work! Authorities in northwestern Pennsylvania say a man published an obituary for his living mother in a attempt to get paid bereavement time off from work.

Relatives called The Jeffersonian Democrat newspaper in Brookville after the obituary appeared to report the woman was actually alive and well. The woman herself then visited the paper. Oops!

Brookville police charged Scott Bennett, 45, with disorderly conduct on Tuesday.
Democrat editor Randy Bartley says : "He accepted the obituary in good faith after being unable to confirm the funeral arrangements at press time. He told The Derrick newspaper on Friday that the woman was very understanding."
Bennett wrote up the memorial notice because he didn't want to get fired for taking time off...Haha .. What people would do to play HOOKIE!
