Growing up I always heard women talking about having 'baby' fever.  I didn't understand what they were actually talking about until I got older.  But is it a real thing or is it just something that adults say?

I always loved being around kids.  My nieces and nephews always made me happy, but I never ever imagined being a mom myself.  I would get asked all the time, 'you don't have baby fever yet?'  My answer was always no.  As much as I loved the kids, I couldn't see myself as a mom.  I didn't feel that I had the 'mothering' gene.

But every year, baby fever spreads to women and men across the world.  It is natural to want to start a family.  That is what our bodies are intended to do.  There have been research teams that study baby fever and they all say that it is a real thing.  When being around babies and kids, you are suddenly overcome with a emotional and physical desire to have a baby-that is baby fever.

In all actuality, I think that most adults (women more often) have the desire somewhere inside them.  I can honestly say that I have never had baby fever.  I do have a son, and as much as I love him, I don't want anymore kids.  No baby fever here.

So do you think that Baby Fever is a real thing?
