With more and more districts adopting this, could Amarillo be next?

That's right. Someone tried to make off with a CISD van. Insanity.

I have no musical ability at all. Really. I don't. In elementary school, I had to learn to play the recorder. I feel like we all had to do that. I was ok with that. I am sure I still annoyed my family.

Just ask CISD.

It's that one little thing we took for granted, right?

You know when the school calendar comes out both kids and parents alike want to check it out. The kids are excited to check on which days they get out of school. You parents check because you have to decide on those off days what to do with them.

One less worry this school year for the parents in Canyon Independent School District. The news is something that will make any parent rejoice. This was something offered last school year and it was a blessing for the families.

Teaching is a rewarding job. You get to shape so many futures. Yes, we hear a lot that the pay is not the greatest. People who teach do it more than just to make money. They want to make a difference.

I know most people don't want to think about it. It's not too far off though. I am talking about all that back to school talk. There will be sales. There will be the Tax Free Weekend. We need to get to planning.

Looks like God wants us to stay home.

As we are getting closer to the month of November there are some more changes coming to some of our local schools. When the pandemic hit in March the kids were all on Spring Break. So the schools ended up extended the break for a bit while they decided what to do with the outbreak.
