You might want to cut back on how much coffee you take in a week when you hear this.

According to a study, people who drink two cups of coffee a day for 30 years or more had smaller pineal glands than those who rarely drank coffee.

The gland is the middle of the brain and release the sleep hormone melatonin when it is time for the body to rest and sleep.

The smaller the gland, the less melatonin it produces, which mean you struggle more to get to sleep.

Another thing to keep in mind. Drinking two cups of coffee a day can keep you up a night years later.

So maybe keep that in mind when you are heading to your favorite coffee stop. That cup of joe might get your going in the morning, but it might also keep you up later that night.  It’s a tough choice to make.
